An impressive villa originally designed by Diego Tobal built over 10 years ago. The property is situated in the top street of the prestigious community of La Cerquilla in Nueva Andalucia and commands panoramic views over the golf valley towards the sea. The property is over 1,000m2 built on a plot of nearly 3,000m2 making it one of the largest villas available in La Cerquilla. The accomodation includes 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a huge living and dining room and open plan kitchen area, a gym, steam room, full size indoor pool, cinema, office, and garage for 3 vehicles.
What TM did:
We were approached by an existing client to find a property to reform in the popular area of Nueva Andalucia. The client wanted a family-friendly villa, in a secure neighbourhood, overlooking a golf course with views to the sea Having searched for several months for a suitable property the client finally decided on La Cerquilla as the best location and finally the current house which was in good condition but in need of a complete refurbishment.
The client decided to refurbish the villa entirely including replacing windows, floors, bathrooms, the kitchen, facilities and installations plus changing the distribution of the bedrooms. As we normally do, when assisting clients who wish to develop their own home, we helped to select a suitable builder, project manager and interior designer. After much deliberation, during which we were happy to lend a hand in the negotiations on our clients’ behalf, the client chose a Marbella based builder and Project Manager and Interior Designer each with at least 20 years experience in delivering turn-key, high-end contemporary homes.

Continuing the work of stripping the villa of floors, installations and carpentry the basement pool area was opened up to accommodate room for a gymnasium overlooking to indoor pool. Work was continued to build new bathrooms for bedrooms and work continued on the main terrace.
The first stage of the project was to remove all flooring, carpentry, bathrooms and kitchen. In addition the living room and kitchen areas were redistributed as well the master bedroom and downstairs bedrooms.
