Ikos – a new resort comes to Estepona
Estepona has its share of luxurious resorts, but the newly announced Ikos Andalusia is an exciting new beachside project that will take the tourist offering in the town up another notch.
Situated close to the charming historic centre of Estepona and also within easy reach of Marbella, Puerto Banús and the international airports of Málaga and Gibraltar, the new frontline beach project will feature the svelte Mediterranean styling that the Ikos brand has become known for.
Opening in May 2020, Ikos Andalusia will offer a uniquely high level of design, décor and quality amenities, which will add a five-star deluxe standard to the hospitality options available within the Estepona area.
Imagine a gorgeous five-star resort hotel right on the beach with beautifully styled lounges, cocktail bars and in and outdoor relaxing areas, as well as panoramic terraces and first-class restaurants, pools and beach club.
The rooms and suites will introduce a new sense of luxury and refinement, topped with concierge service,a first-class spa and wellbeing centre pampering. Such a facility naturally also offers catering, convention and private function options, along with kids and grown-up activities, live entertainment and events throughout the season.
The setting for this dreamlike venue is Playa de Guadalmansa, where 17 acres of parkland paradise will be created along the tranquil, sandy shores just west of Estepona’s charming marina. From here, the views along the shoreline and across the Mediterranean to Gibraltar and North Africa are mesmerising – just the kind of setting to accompany sun downers on your terrace, at the cocktail bar or as you enjoy a gourmet dinner.
Over 400 exquisite executive rooms and magnificent suites will join a seductive choice of restaurants, bars, spa and sports facilities, with entertainment for kids and adults alike in one of the finest beauty spots of the Costa del Sol. Marbella, Ibiza and the Côte d’Azur eat your heart out – Estepona now also boasts a six-star resort!
