Ferias and Holidays

Similarly to Bank holidays in England, Spain holds public holidays, ferias and fiestas throughout the year. A lot of the time these holidays fall on Sundays or the weekends but they do also fall during the week. It is advisable to note when these holidays are as everything closes and you need to be sure that you won´t get caught out. However, the fiestas are great fun and they are a wonderful way to experience the Spanish culture.
