A relative newcomer in the hall of fame of Costa del Sol golf clubs is the Dave-Thomas designed Marbella Club Golf Resort, in Benahavís, Andalusia, Spain. The 18-hole, 6,247-metre course has a 12 minute minimum between tee times, ensuring that it will not get too crowded. The thatched-roof clubhouse overlooks the 18th green and the lake of the first and has been designed in a classic style to recreate the hunting lodge atmosphere of the Marbella Club.
