Due to the location of Estepona, between the Sierra Bermeja Mountains and the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea; Estepona enjoys a privileged microclimate giving Estepona a mild climate all year round and over 325 days of sunshine per year. The months of June, July and August are recognised to be the hottest months with highs of over 30 degrees Celsius and rain is extremely rare within these months. The coldest months are November, December and January with highs of around 17 degrees Celsius, rain in these months, whilst still few and far between, are more frequent than in the summer months.

Banks
There are a number of banks in Estepona, including a Barclay’s and a Santander. The banks are usually open from 10:00-14:00 but opening times do vary, cash points are also available 24 hours a day. If you would like to open a bank account in Spain, it is very simple and you can even do it by correspondence. If you are in Spain the account can be opened immediately, the bank will ask you for your passport and ask you to sign the contracts.
